A guarantee is nothing more than a promise. You can not make a shady business live up to it's promises. Here are vendor quotes from "guarantees" about their "detox" products. Although they speak for themselves, we have added a few comments....

"Manufacturer's Guarantee Only. Valid only for [product] bottled liquids. Guarantee and other information may change without prior notice. Some restrictions apply."

What restrictions apply?  When does the guarantee change - when you ask for a refund?

"...when taken as directed and with-in the limits of body weights and usage history, you will achieve your desired results."

Desired results? What if I want to loose weight, or get rich? This is a typically vague "as directed" guarantee. You must follow the directions to the letter or void the guarantee.

[We] make no guarantees on any shipping what so ever. Once the product has left our business we have no control over it at all. Any questions about your shipment should be taken up with the shipping company you requested. We DO NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES!

This is Customer Service? Most companies grossly over charge for shipping, and will not pay return shipping. Even if you could return the product, how much would it cost you?

"Remember you are the only one in control of your program and you can make it work or not."

This sounds like a difficult program to complete. In any case, the vendor is washing his hands of any responsibility.

"All products distributed by [company] are to be used at your own risk!"

[Company] does not allow the return of any of its products!

GUARANTEE:
You have our guarantee that each product contains 100% of the label's ingredients and consists of only the finest quality, potency and consistency of ingredients.

Guaranteed ingredients?  Who cares if you fail the test, at least you know what was in the package. If you purchase a product that is fully guaranteed, should the guarantee cover more than just the ingredients?

"[WE] IN NO WAY WILL ASSIST, SHOW HOW TO FOIL, CHEAT, MASK, OR IN ANYWAY HELP CHANGE THE OUTCOME OR FINAL RESULTS OF ANY URINE, BLOOD OR HAIR DRUG SCREEN OR TEST."

"REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR PROGRAM AND IT WILL WORK ONLY IF YOU FOLLOW [OUR] INSTRUCTIONS."

"[WE] WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER PROMISES, CONDITIONS, OR CLAIMS OTHER THAN WHAT HAS BEEN LISTED ABOVE. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND."

At least this company is honest about it's return policy!
